You will ensure optimal performance of building systems through daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining excellent tenant relations. This role requires technical expertise in HVAC systems, electrical equipment, and building controls, along with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with contractors. Evening and weekend work will be required to support building operations and respond to critical needs.What your day-to-day will look like:Conduct daily inspections of building mechanical and electrical systems, performing all required maintenance and repairs including lighting/electrical systems, chilled/heating water systems, rooftop equipment, compressors, boilers, HVAC control systems, and fire alarm/sprinkler systemsMonitor and assist contractors to ensure efficient performance of their contracted duties and maintain quality standardsRecord mechanical readings at regular intervals and maintain accurate documentation of system performanceMaintain preventative maintenance program for all life safety equipment and perform necessary repairs to ensure compliance and safetyTroubleshoot and resolve building system issues in a timely manner to meet tight deadlines and minimize tenant disruptionMaintain positive tenant relations through professional communication and responsive service deliveryWork with hand tools and at heights as required to complete maintenance and repair tasksManage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality standardsRequired Qualifications:A high school diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years of practical experience with strong knowledge of HVAC control systemsDemonstrated ability to work with hand tools and at heights safelyProven ability to meet tight deadlines and resolve building issues in a timely mannerExcellent communication skills with ability to maintain positive public relations with tenantsStrong organizational skills with ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneouslyResourceful team player with collaborative approach to problem-solvingFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as requiredPreferred Qualifications:Additional certification in Refrigeration or Electrical TradeExperience with building management systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standardsExperience working in commercial or multi-tenant facilitiesThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
