Job Summary RN - Dialysis Talented Medical Solutions Contract In-Office | Tuscaloosa, AL, United States Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays As Required. Every Other Weekend. Dialysis is located on the fourth floor of the facility campus and the main floor at the facility. Our hours at the Regional campus are Monday‑Saturday 6:30-1900 with call taken on Sunday and after hours. On the Northport campus hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with call taken on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and after hours. Our Regional unit has eight dialysis bays, and the ability to perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis. The Northport campus has four dialysis bays and the ability to perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis. The nurses and Certified Dialysis Techs on this unit prepare and perform dialysis treatments on patients within our organization. Dialysis Details Dialysis ratios: 1:2 (RN:patient) or 1:3 (RN + CCHT:patient) ratios. Equipment: currently uses Fresenius machines, Gambro as needed. We will train if not familiar with Fresenius or Gambro. Education - Required Associated degree in nursing. Certifications Required AHA BLS ACLS Red Cross Licenses Required Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted). NURSYS Experience Required 2 years of RN experience with at least one recent year experience in ACUTE dialysis is required. Professional Nursing Certification preferred.
