About this RoleEnterprise IT Leaders (EITL) is Gartner's executive-level advisory service, delivering expert insight and strategic guidance tailored to each client's unique priorities and challenges. Gartner's global EITL team consists of accomplished former executives who serve as trusted advisors to senior technology leaders across a wide range of industries and sectors.As an Executive Partner within the Data & Analytics domain, you will work directly with Public Sector leaders, including Chief Data & Analytics Officers (CDAOs), Chief AI Officers, and senior technology executives across Federal, Defense, Intelligence, and State & Local Government organizations. You will help clients navigate complex data, analytics, and AI initiatives while driving measurable business and mission outcomes.Who You AreYou are a former senior Data, Analytics, or AI executive who understands the real-world challenges facing today's technology leaders. You are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives, translating complex technology trends into business value, and serving as a trusted advisor to organizations seeking to accelerate data-driven and AI-enabled transformation.What You Will DoManage a portfolio of approximately 25-30 Public Sector client relationshipsServe as a trusted advisor to senior executives through one-on-one engagements, strategic discussions, workshops, webinars, roundtables, and Gartner eventsLeverage your executive leadership experience and Gartner research to provide actionable guidance on mission-critical Data & Analytics and AI initiativesHelp clients address strategic challenges, identify emerging opportunities, and achieve their organizational objectivesCollaborate closely with Gartner Analysts, Sales, Client Success teams, and fellow Executive Partners to maximize client value and engagementSupport client retention and business growth through prospect cultivation, value demonstrations, and account planning activitiesOperate as a highly autonomous individual contributor, managing your client portfolio and engagement activitiesRequired Qualifications15+ years of leadership experience in Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Business Intelligence, or related disciplinesActive U.S. Security Clearance RequiredExecutive-level experience in roles such as: Chief Data Officer (CDO) Chief Analytics Officer (CAO) Chief AI Officer VP/SVP of Data & Analytics VP/SVP of Business Intelligence Senior Government Data, Analytics, or AI Leadership rolesExperience supporting or working within Federal Government, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other Public Sector organizationsDemonstrated ability to influence and advise senior executives on strategic business and technology decisionsStrong executive presence, communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skillsExperience in advisory, consulting, customer-facing, or executive engagement rolesBachelor's degree requiredSubject Matter ExpertiseSuccessful candidates will bring expertise in several of the following areas:Enterprise Data & Analytics StrategyData Governance and Data ManagementAI Strategy, Governance, and Responsible AIData Modernization and AI ReadinessBusiness Intelligence and AnalyticsData Literacy and Organizational Change ManagementAdvanced Analytics and Machine LearningData Architecture, Metadata, and Master Data ManagementPublic Sector Data and AI Transformation#LI-TK3Who are we? Join us.Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 160,000 USD - 194,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
