Job Description
Title: RN - Wound Care

Schedule:
- Shift: Days, 5x8s 07:00-15:30
- Weekend requirement: 1 shift every 6 weeks

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed hours: 40/week
- Orientation: 10 hours

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Wound Ostomy Care certification (WOCN)
- BCLS certification
- NIH certification
- Peritoneal dialysis experience
- Experience with wound management, including VAC therapy, dressing changes, and wound assessment

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform wound assessments and document findings.
- Administer VAC therapy and perform dressing changes.
- Management and education related to pressure, venous, neuropathic, and peripheral arterial ulcers.
- Provide ostomy care and catheter teaching.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records in the charting system.

Compliance / Notes:
- Free parking available.
- Influenza vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
- Local candidates NOT accepted within a 75-mile radius.
- Complete pre-start compliance requirements by facility deadlines.
