Transform Lives Through the Power of Communication in Arlington, Texas – Become a Speech Language Pathologist with Us
What if you could embark on a new phase of your career that brings purpose to life — quite literally? As a Speech Language Pathologist in the thriving community of Arlington, your role will extend far beyond addressing communication and swallowing challenges. It will unlock potential, reinstate confidence, and foster connections between individuals of all ages — from tiny toddlers discovering their first words, to elderly adults regaining their independence and social engagement.
This position presents a remarkable opportunity to work with an extensive range of patients throughout their essential life stages in an environment that harmoniously blends outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient support. Whether your expertise lies in nurturing pediatric language milestones, tackling adult neurogenic communication hurdles, or enhancing cognitive-linguistic abilities in the geriatric population, you will find both satisfaction and adaptability in this role.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments along with observational methodologies.
- Create tailored treatment plans that meet both short-term objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions with a focus on language, communication fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.
- Collaborate effectively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and patient families to design cohesive care strategies.
- Provide education to patients and their families to support their progress outside clinical settings.
- Assist with inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions when necessary, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the treatment experience.
- Maintain consistent, accurate documentation in conjunction with applicable state, federal, and organizational policies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.
Licenses and Certifications
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be achieved within 30 days of employment.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in applying evidence-based treatment methods across all age groups, with a profound understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Adeptness in adjusting therapy approaches to suit diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable navigating electronic medical records and documentation best practices.
Benefits
- Competitive salary tailored to experience.
- Flexible scheduling to support a healthy work-life balance and diversified case management.
- Options to specialize in pediatric care, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatric services.
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.
- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage options.
- Continuing education reimbursement and support for professional growth.
- A collaborative team environment that values quality patient care and lifelong learning.
A Career That Moves You Forward
In this role, you won't simply deliver speech therapy — you will become part of a community celebrated for restoring voices, enhancing communication, and creating moments of joy through the simplest yet most profound human acts: understanding and connection.
Here, you will work alongside fellow clinicians who treat one another as family, in a workspace that embraces collaboration over competition. Each patient has their own narrative, and we trust you to help sculpt how it is expressed.

Who We Are Seeking
We are in search of a passionate Speech Language Pathologist who is driven by the desire for meaningful outcomes and the gift of empathy. Someone who sees a shy child and envisions a journey of self-expression, who hears the hesitant words of a stroke survivor, and perceives determination and hope.
You may be a pediatric expert looking to branch into adult speech therapy — or a clinician with a focus on neuro rehabilitation who wishes to enrich their practice with early intervention techniques.
If you are passionate about serving others and eager to lead with your skills in this field, we are excited to welcome you into our team.
Let Us Build the Right Narrative — Together
If you believe that speech involves more than mere sound, and therapy encompasses more than tasks — if you believe in the importance of trust before addressing goals, and joy as part of the healing process as much as the language — then this may be the next chapter in your career journey.
Join us in fostering a community that cherishes communication, connection, and the courage it requires to start anew. Apply today to contribute your voice to our team — and help others discover their own.
