We build solutions to enable business customers to discover, research and purchase products from a competitive marketplace with a vast selection, across multiple devices and regions, and with an increasing array of customer-centric features and integrations.We are looking for a high-caliber, results-focused business development leader to grow Amazon Business's public sector and healthcare business through our channel partners — including group purchasing organizations (GPOs), cooperatives, technology providers, and other channel partners, major and fast-growing channels for public sector and healthcare adoption of Amazon Business. This leader will own the channel partner portfolio strategy: deciding which partnerships to pursue, prioritize, and rationalize, and structuring commercial models that are durable and mutually beneficial. They will design the go-to-market approach that turns these partnerships into growth. This person will wear strategy, business development, and commercial-negotiation hats, and will lead how emerging agentic AI and procurement-technology partnerships extend our channel reach.Key job responsibilities-Own the public sector and healthcare channel partner portfolio strategy across GPOs, cooperatives, and technology partners — evaluating, prioritizing, and rationalizing partnerships by addressable spend and strategic fit-Lead the development of agentic AI and procurement-technology partnerships that extend Amazon Business's channel reach to public sector and healthcare customers-Design the go-to-market plan that brings channel partnerships to life — defining the model and mechanisms in close partnership with Amazon Business Sales and GTMO, who own sales execution-Win new channel partnerships and lead RFP/solicitation responses in partnership with Bid & Capture and Legal-Structure and negotiate the commercial framework and economics of channel partnerships, setting durable precedents for how partner-driven growth is valued-Influence and align Sales, GTMO, Product, Legal, and Finance on portfolio strategy, commercial terms, and GTM design-Develop mechanisms to monitor and ensure the success of Amazon Business public sector and healthcare partnershipsBasic qualifications- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience- 7+ years of professional or military experience- Bachelor's degree- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational levelPreferred qualification - Knowledge of big data businesses and technical conceptsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
