EHS Manager - Plant

Environmental And Industrial Safety Leadership

Must have at least (10) years of environmental and industrial safety leadership including experience in the chemical industry.

This position will be responsible for ensuring the plant is operating within all applicable EHS laws and maintaining the safe operation of the facility. Directly supervise a large EHS department and reports into a Corporate EHS Director. Academic background is important (must have a Bachelor degree in a technical area such as safety, environmental, engineering) along with a stable career history.

Emphasis on safety leadership by advancing a culture of EHS excellence where everyone is engaged, empowered and innovative. Must have the ability to build relationships and credibility along with influencing the site regarding all EHS matters. Strong ethics and value-based organization.

Candidate skill set should include the ability to lead a staff and program within the chemical industry; represent the company within the community; ability to present to all levels within the organization; cross functional within all areas of EHS including BBS. Excellent opportunity to continue building sustainable EHS program.
