Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in organized chaos and handle multiple patients with expertise and dedication.
- Perform non-stress tests (NST) and cervical exams.
- Manage labor, which includes titrating medications effectively.
- Assist with delivery procedures including McRoberts maneuver.
- Provide couplet care when floated to postpartum units.
- Must possess AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor and Delivery, particularly with transition nursing and baby catching.
