2nd Shift Supervisor

The Production Supervisor The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading one or more manufacturing areas, ensuring all policies and procedures are met, mentoring staff, and meeting production schedules. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate teams to meet production schedules and safety, quality, cost, delivery, and team objectives. Orient, train, develop, motivate, counsel, and assist team members in work instructions, production standards, and balanced flow of work and problem resolution. Perform supervisory and HR functions such as work assignments, attendance documentation, incident reports, performance evaluations, and counseling. Assist in production scheduling, planning, quality, material flow, and equipment maintenance. Audit quality and safety reports and processes to determine root causes of issues and ensure corrections are implemented. Develop and maintain effective team relationships. Assign work and special projects to team members to build experience and flexibility. Requisition resources (supplies, tools, etc.) and expedite as needed. Act as backup for all team members. Contribute to team efforts by performing related tasks as needed to support overall goals. Other duties and projects as determined by production and business needs. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience or equivalent in a production environment. Previous experience with machine shop, stamping, assembly, or plastic injection molding environments is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
