Facility:
This medical center is a Level 1 trauma facility that features a specialized 12-bed OB/ED department with comprehensive women's health services. The facility provides 24/7 physician coverage with APP support 18 hours daily, ensuring excellent patient care and collaborative work environment.

Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:
• Provide coverage for OB Emergency Department with no call requirements
• Work 12-hour shifts available: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Manage 40-60 patient encounters per day in a 12-bed OB/ED setting
• Evaluate patients who are pregnant up to 6 weeks postpartum
• Handle low and high risk pregnancy cases with comprehensive OB care
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct OB ultrasounds with performance and interpretation (Level I and II)
• Manage routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform amniocentesis and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Handle VBAC cases and decision-making for c-sections
• Diagnose and treat ectopic pregnancies
• Work alongside APP support team including PAs, NPs, and Midwives
• Collaborate with RN staffing (2-3 nurses), sonographer (18 hours/day), and tech support (12 hours/day)
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
• Must hold Missouri medical license or IMLC
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Opportunity for 30-40 shifts per month with multiple provider coverage model

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
