Ground Software Engineer Stf

Overview Level 4 Ground Software Engineer with an active Final Top Secret clearance. Full‑time, onsite at Lockheed Martin’s King of Prussia, PA facility. Responsibilities Design, implement, test, and maintain object‑oriented ground system software applications using Java, C#, Rust, Angular, Python. Support modernization efforts to achieve greater efficiency, security, automation, and scalability. Collaborate with an Agile Development team using DevSecOps methodologies, continuous integration, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Progress system capabilities from early design through site acceptance with emphasis on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integration, and innovative best practices. Qualifications BS degree and 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. Deep background in software development, proven track record of project delivery, and experience developing ground subsystems. Cloud/containerization experience and understanding of distributed systems and scalable design. Experience with microservices, Java, C#, Rust, Python, Apache Kafka, Apache ActiveMQ, ELK Stack/OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, Redis, Helm, Kubernetes. Proficient in Git, DevSecOps pipelines, and Scaled Agile Framework methodologies. Excellent communication skills, strong problem‑solving abilities, and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile team.
