Senior Manager Finance – Full Time, Day

Position is in‑person at Providence Health Plaza in Portland, Oregon.

The Senior Manager of Finance supports local ministry/entity leadership teams and may serve on local leadership committees as assigned. The role is responsible for financial analysis and modeling to evaluate new programs, propose recommendations to achieve financial goals and budgetary targets, provide financial analysis for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, and develop analytical reports to enhance process improvements and efficiencies. The manager may also serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders, develop financial plans and budgets, support month‑end review of financial statements, and supervise appropriate finance staff.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and experience.
• 8 (or more) years of closely related experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in a leadership role or capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent upon hire.
• Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) certification or equivalent upon hire.
• Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) upon hire.
