Overview Position Title: Shipping & Receiving Wage: $21-$23/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Shipping & Receiving role for a company in Oak Creek, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Responsibilities Verify incoming and outgoing items and quantities for accuracy Create labels and package products for safe delivery Prepare packing lists, Bills of Lading, and documentation for domestic and international shipments Load and unload trucks and containers Request freight quotes via phone or email Schedule and prepare freight shipments Build basic pallets and crates when required Pick, pull, and package customer orders Pull BOM items for production Consolidate, reclassify, date code, and label warehouse goods Inspect, receive, and put away incoming materials Enter data and transactions into the ERP system manually Stage and load outbound containers Replenish component inventory in floor stock locations daily Look up items and perform cycle counts in the ERP system Perform part identification, measurement, and inspection tasks Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods Strong oral, written, and email communication skills Ability to use basic hand tools Ability to operate forklifts and order pickers Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions Practical experience shipping with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ability to work directly with customer service and accounting teams Experience with JDE ERP system is a plus Ability to accurately identify parts, count items, and use measuring tools (tape measure, dial calipers)
