Irrigation Specialist

ACE Outdoor Services is hiring an experienced Irrigation Specialist in Burton, MI.

This is not an irrigation-only position. The Irrigation Specialist will perform hands-on landscape work while also servicing, testing, and maintaining irrigation systems.

$18-$19/hour based on experience

Full-time with year-round opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Repair, audit, test, troubleshoot, and winterize irrigation systems
• Diagnose system issues and complete necessary repairs
• Inspect and adjust systems for proper operation and coverage
• Assist with planting and landscape installations
• Perform trimming, mulching, bed preparation, and basic brickwork
• Safely operate handheld landscape equipment
• Load, unload, and move plants, materials, and equipment
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
• Assist landscape crews whenever irrigation work is not scheduled

Requirements:

• Previous irrigation service experience required
• Proficiency in irrigation repair, auditing, testing, troubleshooting, and winterization
• Ability to perform all standard Landscape Crew Member duties
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate and follow directions
• Ability to safely lift and move 50-90 pounds
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license preferred
