About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience required License: NY State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: MS/Tele skills Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Use of Rapid Response and Code teams Peripheral line care and management Nasal cannula and oxygen administration Non-invasive airway management Isolation precautions Description: Fast-Track Offer Opportunity for candidates who can start as soon as possible and have no requested time off. Candidates will be eligible for an expedited offer without an interview. Floating is required as per facility needs. The position demands the ability to work 5 out of 8 shifts with no blocked scheduling. Every other weekend and holiday work is required. Recent experience in a similar setting is essential. All requested time off must be submitted initially or will not be approved. It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure any additional shifts are covered. The call-off policy allows for up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment. No hits on the nursing license are accepted for qualification. If a nursing license application is pending, the date of application needs to be noted during submission. Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements is mandatory, with exemptions allowed. Candidates with additional relevant experience and skills may be considered. This position supports various patient care procedures and requires adaptability to meet unit demands. Orientation will be provided to familiarize travelers with the facility's procedures and protocols.
