Early Access: Your benefits start after just 30 days of employment. __________________________ Job Responsibilities This role is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of compressed gas cylinders between locations while maintaining meticulous documentation and vehicle safety inspections. You will professionally manage associate and customer relations, operate warehouse equipment like forklifts, and strictly adhere to all hazardous material safety protocols. Vehicle Operation: Operate a Class A Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders, as well as hard goods, along designated routes. Customer Service: Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure complete satisfaction. Documentation: Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures. Logistics: Handle the loading and unloading of all materials. Safety and Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, noting any issues to ensure full safety compliance and maintaining the vehicle's condition. Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a representative of the company during all deliveries. __________________________ Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications Must have a valid Class A Driver's License. Valid Medical Examiner's Card. Must have the Hazmat Endorsement. Must be at least 21 years old. Must have one (1) year of Class A driving experience within the last five (5) years. Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check. DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required. Ability to routinely lift or move around 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs. Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures. Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace. Adherence to safety regulations and policies. Flexible to work overtime as needed.
