Diesel Technician / Mechanic
Immediately hiring permanent-full time Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Liberty Waste Solutions:
A-Tech $32-$40/hr
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, bodies, and other heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
- Repair company equipment in shop, and on-road service.
- Use electronic tools to identify malfunctions.
- Welding and fabrication skills a plus
- ASL / Frontload experience a plus
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
- Basic tools, required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Advanced analytical and repair skills
- Four (4) years or more relevant work experience
- Effective communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Demonstrate ability to coach/mentor/influence others
Pay Rate: Depending on experience
