ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview:

ServiceNow Developer will work on ServiceNow application, Security Operations (SecOps), Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence, and Splunk Integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Module Development
• Design and configure SIR, VR, Threat Intelligence, and Configuration Compliance modules
• Revert SIR back to OOTB by removing all customizations, exporting SIR records, uninstalling and reinstalling SIR and workspace applications plugins, updating SIR records status back to OOTB states, confirming SIR classic form layout and workspace are back to OOTB, creating transformation mappings to import removed field data into SIR record work notes, reverting roles ACLs back to OOTB and helping with creating and updating reports and dashboards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Lead technical discussions and design sessions
• Ensure best practices and coding standards are followed
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues
• Assist in routine maintenance, upgrades, patching, and testing on the ServiceNow platforms
• Configure ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollouts of new applications and modules
• Support data owners with data visibility, validation, and cleanup
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of ServiceNow solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to ServiceNow processes and configurations
• Conduct training sessions for end-users and other developers
• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities
• Continuously improve and optimize ServiceNow solutions to enhance performance and user experience

Essential Skills:

• ServiceNow Developer should have experience with the following: ServiceNow applications, Security Operations (SecOps), Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence, Tenable, Splunk Integrations, Module Development, Design and configure SIR, VR, Threat Intelligence, and Configuration Compliance modules, revert SIR back to OOTB, provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, lead technical discussions and design sessions, ensure best practices and coding standards are followed, participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards, provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues, assist in routine maintenance, upgrades, patching, and testing on the ServiceNow platforms, configure ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollouts of new applications and modules, support data owners with data visibility, validation, and cleanup, work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of ServiceNow solutions, create and maintain technical documentation related to ServiceNow processes and configurations, conduct training sessions for end-users and other developers, stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities, continuously improve and optimize ServiceNow solutions to enhance performance and user experience
