AMETEK's Advanced Measurement Technology (AMT) business unit, within the Materials Analysis Division of AMETEK's Electronic Instruments Group, currently has an opening for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will perform and carry out the duties to support the inbound (receiving) and outbound (shipping) activities and transactions. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for:

• Ensuring all shipping and receiving transactions and duties are carried out in a timely manner to meet the daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Carrying out all shipping/receiving duties, including ORACLE transactions and physical distribution of incoming materials related to manufacturing and business operations.
• Executing the vendor returns (outbound shipments) as part of the MRB process.
• Assisting leadership through provided systems, written, and verbal communication within the Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Shipping areas to prioritize activities that drive on time delivery performance.
• Coordinating carrier pick-ups with the appropriate carriers.
• Assisting in the resolution of shipping and receiving issues in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail/packages.
• Physically packaging and executing all shipment requests for shipment.
• Storing supplies and performing all related transactions in Oracle.
• Performing cycle count inventory daily.
• Following written procedures for day-to-day routine actions.
• Carrying out Drop Shipments from offsite locations.
• Maintaining certifications and training requirements for international and hazardous materials shipments.
• Cross training with other Material Handler roles within the department.
• Providing coverage for other Material Handler responsibilities as needed.
• Providing support for other duties as needed to support the overall business needs.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk candidate should meet the following required qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 6+ months of related or relevant experience
• Must have current Tennessee driver's license and forklift operator certificate
