The Opportunity To support our continued growth, VMG is seeking a dependable Production Worker to join our sheet metal shop in Berryville, VA . This entry-level role supports daily production by preparing materials, operating basic shop equipment, and assisting team members with general production activities. Previous fabrication or welding experience is not required-we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. What You'll Do Production Support Assist with cutting, bending, and preparing materials for production Follow work orders, instructions, and established production procedures Support daily production goals and help keep work moving efficiently Assist experienced team members with general shop and fabrication tasks Inspect materials for visible defects or damage and report concerns promptly Tools, Equipment & Safety Operate basic shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely Follow all company safety policies and shop procedures Use required personal protective equipment Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of avoidable hazards What We're Looking For Previous work experience required Construction, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality Willingness to learn new tools, equipment, and production processes Ability to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable working with tools in an active shop environment Strong attention to safety and quality Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift Ability to safely operate tools and handle production materials Ability to work in an active sheet metal shop environment Why Join VMG?
