Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: General nursing skills Description: The unit has a total of 17 beds. There are 9 core staff members on the unit. Staffing includes a day shift charge nurse, two registered nurses, and a patient care technician. The night shift consists of a charge nurse, two registered nurses, and a patient care technician. Patient ratios are 6:1. Lifting equipment is available for use. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. The unit typically performs procedures similar to those in medical-surgical settings. Candidates with rehab experience and Meditech experience are preferred. A great attitude, teamwork, and good time management skills are essential for this role. Weekends are required on an alternating basis.
