POSITION PURPOSE:  

To provide food to the guests in an efficient, courteous and accurate manner. All functions are carried out to maintain an environment of teamwork. 

Responsibilities for food attendant 

• Plans, organizes, prepares and serves food for large groups 

• Take orders, promote the outlet’s specialties and serve in accordance to the established standards 

• Operating a point of sale register to include cash transactions and provide excellent customer service 

• Chopping, grilling, frying, and assembling meals according to menu standards 

• Preparing and cooking food in the food truck kitchen 

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas 

• Assist with restocking supplies and ingredients 

• Handle cash transactions and provide excellent customer service 

• Be helpful towards guests that need assistance 

• Clean and prepare tables for inflow of guests 

• Pay regular attention to guests to ensure that their requests are attended to 

Qualifications for food attendant 

• One year previous job experience required in lieu of High school diploma/GED 

• Short order cook/grill cook experience preferred 

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or currently completing required studies
