Emergency Department Technician

Job Overview The Emergency Department Technician works under the supervision of a registered nurse and provides care to patients in varying states of health while in the Emergency Department. The tech operates as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team and must be versatile in all areas of emergency department and transport team operations. Responsibilities Provide patient care under RN supervision. Assist in all aspects of emergency department and transport team operations. Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Communicate department standards and expectations to staff and patients. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. National EMT certification required; EMT‑State certification preferred.
