Description

Joe Basil Chevrolet , one of Western New York's most trusted and highest-volume dealerships, is seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused, experienced Auto Damage Estimator to join our growing team. If you take pride in accuracy, communication, and delivering exceptional customer service, we want to meet you!

Location: 5111 Transit Rd. Depew, NY 14043

Pay Range: $60,000-$85,000/yr

What You'll do:

Greet customers and assess vehicle damage in a professional, friendly manner
Prepare detailed, accurate repair estimates using dealership software
Communicate with insurance companies, customers, and internal team members regarding repair plans and timelines
Review and verify parts pricing, labor times, and repair procedures
Maintain strong follow-up on repair status, approvals, and customer updates
Collaborate with technicians and parts staff to ensure smooth workflow
Ensure compliance with OEM repair standards and collision industry guidelines
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair procedure

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

Previous collision repair estimator experience required
NYS Estimator license required
Prior experience working in CDK preferred
Experience using CCC estimating platform required
Mechanical and suspension knowledge a plus
Strong understanding of auto-body repair processes and insurance procedures
Excellent communication, phone, computer, time management & administrative skills
Ability to multi-task and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance with a strong work ethic
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
The ability to work a full-time 5-day work week that will include occasional Saturdays
