**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Physical Therapist!** **Job Description:** - Exciting opportunity to work in the vibrant Palm Springs area, specifically Cathedral City, CA. - Engage with patients in implementing personalized rehabilitation programs to enhance mobility, function, and strength. - Collaborate in a supportive and empowering outpatient/rehabilitation environment. **Essential Functions:** - Hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of California. - Stay updated and maintain necessary PT skills and certifications. - Conduct thorough evaluations and create tailored treatment plans for patients. - Utilize Electronic Medical Records for efficient documentation, reports, and discharge summaries. - Guide and monitor patient care across all treatment aspects, ensuring a focus on quality. - Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides in providing exceptional patient care. - Foster communication with physicians and team members to promote optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and timely patient chart documentation, including prescriptions and test results. - Ensure patient comfort while addressing inquiries and concerns. - Collaborate closely with front office staff for scheduling and patient follow-up initiatives. - Possess computer skills for job requirements, including typing and EMR usage. - Make independent decisions regarding patient therapy and care. - Participate in marketing and referral processes to promote clinic services. - Adhere strictly to HIPAA policies and procedures at all times. - Understand billing practices and coding for various insurance types. - Maintain physical mobility throughout the day, including standing, walking, and assisting patients as needed. - Lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety. **Supervisory Responsibility:** - Oversee and mentor PT Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care. **Work Environment:** - Work in a dynamic outpatient/rehabilitation clinic focused on patient rehabilitation and recovery. **Physical Demands:** - Engage in a physically active role, including walking, standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts. - Remain alert to ensure patient safety at all times. **Required Education and Experience:** - Degree in Physical Therapy. **Preferred Education and Experience:** - Completion of continuing education courses. **Additional Eligibility Qualifications:** - Must hold an active Physical Therapist license or plan to test for licensure soon. **Shift Information:** - Flexible scheduling options. **Minimum Years of Experience:** - At least 1 year of relevant experience. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
