Retail Service Specialist

Compensation Pay range: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses or premiums paid in hourly amounts under specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Responsibilities Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply. Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution of customer service programs such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc. Ensure the company telephone is answered according to company policy. Process all buy‑online/ship‑to‑store, hub and store‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issue refunds accurately using the correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise correctly in the returns area. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store. Use Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned. Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule, that changes or deviations are approved by a member of management, and that members clock in/out according to company policy. Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day‑end procedures, verifying and securing money/deposits according to policy, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night security lights are on, locking doors and securing the building, arming/disarming security alarms, and securing delivery vehicles in the designated area. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Strong communication skills. Required: Ability to obtain RSS Certification. Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
