Job Summary
Physical Therapist – Inpatient, Spruce Pine, NC. The physical therapist provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, balance training, and gait training. The role supports patient care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Licensed as a physical therapist in North Carolina; experience in both outpatient and acute care settings.
- Preferred Qualifications: Orthopedic, sports medicine, spine, manual therapy, vestibular, vertigo, or stroke experience.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities may include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, balance training, and gait training. Weekend rotation occurs every fifth weekend, with Saturday visits limited to priority patients and no Sunday visits. Acute care attire consists of purple scrubs; outpatient attire consists of business attire or a polo shirt with khakis. A team-oriented and outgoing approach is preferred.
