Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Lakeland, FL

This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist position in an outpatient infusion center pharmacy located in Lakeland, FL. This role focuses on providing pharmaceutical care primarily to oncology patients, with an emphasis on chemotherapy treatments. The position is temp-to-hire with a start date as soon as possible and an initial duration of 13 weeks or longer.


Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care. The role demands strong clinical knowledge and the ability to manage the complexities of oncology pharmacy services.


Required Qualifications:

• Active Florida Pharmacist license
• Experience in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy, which can include inpatient chemotherapy experience
• Ability to supervise pharmacy staff and maintain accuracy in order verification
• Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary consultation

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts
