Fitness Instructor
$15 - $30 per hourLorain County Metro Parks
Description Responsible for providing excellent and safe instruction, motivation, and support to the program participants in group exercise classes. Independent Contractor This is an independent contractor position. Pay $15.00-$30.00 hourly Essential Functions Leads fitness and/or related classes. Communicates and enforces HealthPlex policies and procedures as they relate to group fitness. Ensures participants are performing exercises safely. Assists in set‑up and clean‑up of fitness programs. Trains participants in a manner that is both demonstrative and professional. Takes attendance of class each time it is held. Fills out the timecard accordingly. Finds substitutes for sickness or vacations and is willing to help sub for others. Develops positive relationships with members and provides motivational support and guidance. Communicates needs, issues and concerns to the Facility Coordinator. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 18 years of age or older. Certifications which are helpful include Personal Training and Group Exercise Instructor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
