Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Monday – Friday | No Weekends or Holidays | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures including Diagnostic Heart Catheterization, PCI, and Cardiac Ablation
• Assist with Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversions
• Support Peripheral Vascular percutaneous procedures, Pacemaker placements, Structural Heart Procedures, and Loop Recorder insertions
• Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry throughout patient care episodes
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC EMR
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab or EP nursing experience
• Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required of all RNs regardless of specialty)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Structural Heart Procedures and EP-related interventions
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
