Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift ICU RN for a long-term travel contract requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and 18 months of recent experience.

Details

• Internal Float Pool position based primarily at one facility with possible floating to a nearby sister facility within specialty
• 3x12-hour night shifts per week, 36 hours weekly
• No on-call requirements
• May float within specialty between two nearby facilities as needed, with shift location communicated in advance
• May handle ED boarder patients within specialty

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience required
• BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within the ICU and float pool as assigned
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront prior to assignment start
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if it does
• Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per contract
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Former Emory or Houston Methodist staff must have been separated for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
