Job Description

• Design Customized Treatment Approaches: Assess and identify patient needs to create individualized therapy plans that empower them to achieve their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic techniques: Employ evidence-based strategies to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate in Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure holistic and comprehensive care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Share knowledge with patients and their caregivers about therapy practices to encourage ongoing progress outside of sessions.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients effectively on their healing journey.

Education

• Accredited Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Support for continuing education and advanced certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
