Facility: Sanford Broadway Med Ctr Location: Fargo, ND Address: 801 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102, USA Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $46.00 - $76.00 Union Position: Yes Responsibilities The Radiologist Assistant is a health care professional who provides primary health care services in medical imaging with physician supervision. Under the supervision, guidance and discretion of the supervising physician, RPAs/RRAs exercise autonomy in patient assessment, management and in providing a broad range of radiology diagnostic and interventional services. Evaluate the day’s schedule of procedures with the supervising physician and determine where their skills will be best utilized. May perform procedures under competency and guidance, including but not limited to fluoroscopic procedures, ultrasound, computed tomography, and fluoroscopic-guided biopsies, drainages, vascular and venous access procedures, IVC filter placement, fistulagrams, and gastrostomies. Evaluate medical images, review preliminary reports and images with a supervising physician, and prepare technical reports for review and signing by the supervising physician. Assess and evaluate the physiologic and psychological responsiveness of each patient. Participate in patient management, including prescriptive powers for acquisition of additional imaging procedures, following review with the supervising physician. Maintain values congruent with the Code of Ethics and adhere to standards of care, policies, and procedures. Qualifications Graduate of an educational program recognized by the CBRPA and/or ARRT. Certified by the CBRPA and/or ARRT or required; active radiographer registration status. Current certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Maintain a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education per biennium as required by CBRPA/ARRT; maintain ACLS. If working in North Dakota and performing medical imaging or radiation therapy procedures, licensure with the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) is required.
