Location: Griffin, Georgia (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Harness Design Engineer to support the design and development of wiring harnesses, cables, and electrical systems for marine engines, gensets, and related products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in harness design, electrical schematics, and CAD tools such as Creo . This role involves both new product development and sustaining engineering activities. Candidates with extensive wiring harness design experience are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain wiring harness assemblies, wiring groups, and related components for new and existing products.
- Develop and manage engineering models, drawings, and documentation using EDS, GPGR, and CAD tools.
- Support manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams by providing troubleshooting assistance and engineering change support.
- Participate in design reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and development of harness design best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in harness design, electrical systems, or related engineering roles.
- Proficiency with Creo, Pro/E, AutoCAD , or similar CAD tools, along with EDS and TeamCenter.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
