Job Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical and technical support in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Interventional Radiology Cath Lab, and Vascular Surgery Angiography suites.
• Prepare and set up the lab for all procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are available and functioning properly.
• Assist cardiologists and other physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Stand for extended periods while wearing up to 25 pounds of PPE for up to four (4) hours or longer as required by procedure duration.
• Support additional Cardiopulmonary Service areas as directed by the Cardiology Medical Director.
• Educate, mentor, and train new cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, or vascular surgery technologists.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for all lab supplies; assist with ordering, tracking, and restocking as necessary.
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, stored, and maintained according to infection control and preventive maintenance standards.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring privacy, comfort, and dignity at all times.  

Required Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Technician (RCVT) program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).
