Registered Nurse - Hospice

Schedule

12-Hour Night Shifts: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 16 weeks

Requirements

• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of prior hospice experience
• Excellent typing skills for a narrative-heavy EMR
• Experience in complex symptom management and education
• Comfortable with goals of care discussions with patients and families
• Medication management and administration (various routes)
• EPIC experience required within the past 2 years

Responsibilities

• Conduct symptom assessment and management with strong critical thinking
• Initiate and participate in care planning discussions
• Administer medications as per guidelines
• Collaborate with healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
