divh2Light Pole Base Technician/h2pCardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring a Light Pole Base Technician for a large, well-known client in Northwood, OH. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Precast Light Pole Base Technician. This role is responsible for building precast concrete foundations used for outdoor site lighting, runway and taxiway edge lights, signage, and structural columns. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hands-on, physical environment and takes pride in producing quality work that meets specifications. Available shifts: 1st shift (5AM start) - 8 to 10 hr shifts with possible same day overtime - Possible weekend work/ppDuties and Responsibilities:/pulliBuild precast concrete light pole foundations and related products/liliSet up and prepare plastic molds for concrete pouring/liliApply epoxy to molds using hand rollers and paint brushes/liliRead and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy of work/liliAssist in the pouring, forming, and finishing of concrete products/liliEnsure all products meet quality standards and specifications/liliMaintain an organized and safe work environment/liliClean and scrape molds, forms, and floors by the end of each day/liliPerform additional duties as assigned/li/ulpRequirements and Qualifications:/pulliSteel-toed work boots and hard hat required/liliAbility to work in a dirty, hands-on environment/liliExperience with concrete and blueprint reading/liliStrong attention to detail/liliAbility to follow instructions and work efficiently/liliTrainable and willing to learn new skills/liliBasic math skills, including adding/subtracting fractions/liliAble to pass a tape measure test/liliPreferred experience in construction, concrete work, and electrical/li/ulpAbout Cardinal Staffing/ppAt Cardinal Staffing, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
