What You Will Do In This Role:

• Plan, direct and oversee technical aspects of the Imaging Department in regards to services and programs, and evaluate these programs regularly.
• Prepare necessary reports and documents.
• Ensure that assigned sections are adequately staffed for performance of duties.
• Operate x-ray or diagnostic equipment.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of ALL modalities, ability to educate/explain exams performed, and demonstrate above average skill in your modality specialty, performing all ordered exams, both invasive and non-invasive.
• Provide patient and family education.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiologic technology is required.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License is required.
• Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by Texas Medical Board is required.
• One year of Lead Technologist experience in Diagnostic Imaging is preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
