APP Internal Medicine opening: Conway, SC 10m to Myrtle Beach Position Details Full-time Permanent Seeking a board certified Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions as well as serving as a consultant and educator. Performing patient history and physical examinations, diagnostic testing, test interpretation, treatment, patient follow up and education on managing acute and chronic health problems. The APP promotes collaboration between the multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. The APP will make referrals to physicians and other healthcare providers, document assessment, management, and education clearly and concisely within the Electronic Health Record (EHR). The APP will dictate discharge summaries, writes prescriptions, explains discharge instructions, and confirms follow-up appointments, as well as monitor, record and report systems or changes in patients condition. Qualifications Completion of an accredited NP/PA program required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure as a NP/PA in the State of South Carolina in good standing (SCLLR) required. Basic Life Saving (BLS) Certification required. Board Certified
