Hematologist/Oncologist

We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 115-day locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts. The role involves a 4 or 5-day work week, typically 8a-5p, with weekend inpatient call coverage from 7a-7p. Responsibilities include managing new patient consultations, follow-ups, and care planning for a mix of solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and benign hematology conditions. Practice Info Setting: Clinic and Call Patients Per Day: 10-11 Staffing Mix: 6 Physicians, 3 Nurse Practitioners, RNs, and MAs EMR: Epic Responsibilities Provide inpatient consultation services and share night/weekend call equally. Treat both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, including breast, lung, colon/rectal, and prostate cancers. Manage a variety of hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Address benign hematology conditions, including anemia and clotting disorders. Conduct new patient consultations, follow-ups, and develop comprehensive care plans.
