TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Trauma Level I experience preferred - Experience with Community Client charting system required - Travel experience preferred Description: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU. Candidates must have experience managing patient ratios of 2:1 during day and night shifts. Weekend coverage is necessary, with 1-2 weekend shifts expected per 4-week schedule. Potential for weekend shifts, but there is no call required at this time. Experience with patient care in areas such as bariatrics, cardiac, and ventilated patients is essential. Skills in post-anesthesia care, pain assessment, and various medical protocols are necessary. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must be aware of credentialing processes and health compliance measures. Professional references are required, including at least one from a leadership position. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
