Within this framework, counselors will utilize telehealth platforms and virtual tools to connect with clients, providing convenience and accessibility for seniors who may have mobility challenges or prefer privacy in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying their unique emotional and psychological needs.

• Deliver individualized and group counseling sessions that specifically address emotional hurdles related to aging, loss, and life transitions.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement tailored care plans aimed at improving the overall well-being of our geriatric residents.

• Educate both staff and family members on effective strategies to enhance the emotional health and quality of life for older adults.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for clients and their families, offering compassion and understanding as they navigate end-of-life issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on elderly clients facing age-related issues, including those coping with loss, mental health disorders, and significant life transitions. Many of our clients are dealing with feelings of isolation, depression, anxiety, and existential questions related to aging. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a potential sign-on bonus.
