Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments, provide holistic nursing care, and notify physicians of significant changes. Care Planning & Coordination: Develop, direct, and evaluate individualized care plans, including patient/family education and discharge planning, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Treatment Implementation: Prepare patients for procedures, implement physician orders, and ensure patient safety protocols, including medication administration. Ongoing Evaluation & Adjustment: Regularly reassess patient responses to interventions, adapt care to changing needs, and communicate with physicians for modifications. Effective Communication & Handoffs: Utilize Bedside Shift Report, provide thorough patient updates, and delegate tasks for seamless care transitions. Safety & Quality Assurance: Maintain a safe patient and work environment, promptly address hazards, and actively contribute to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
