Enjoy a Flexible Schedule in Beautiful Tucson! Banner University Medicine Tucson is actively interviewing Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our Division of Neonatology at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson
. This position is involved in supporting a Level IV Neonatology team of clinical faculty covering up to 20 patients on the resident-led team, and up to 16 patients on the NNP led team. Duties include attending all high-risk deliveries, teach/assist/perform procedures including intubations, chest tubes, arterial lines, PICCs, ventilator management, and participate as an NRP instructor. This position requires working closely with Physicians and other clinicians in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Work Schedule & Description
: Full-time (1.0 FTE) Flexible shifts - team self-schedules. 8 & 13 hour shifts available Monday-Sunday with day and night coverage Charting assistance! Attendings write daily notes Teaching and research opportunities Multiple residents, attendings, and other NNPs on each shift for comprehensive support Qualifications: Experienced (2+ yrs Neonatal) candidates preferred, NEW GRADs welcome to apply AZ license, or ability to obtain by start date Current BLS and NRP Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance.
