Phlebotomist

Role Overview The Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist is a part‑time position at a Plasma Donation Center in Spring, TX. Shifts last 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week, with weekends and holidays. The role involves greeting donors, screening, collecting vital signs, phlebotomy, and maintaining records. Responsibilities Answer phones and greet donors. Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use Donor Information System to prepare charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to processes. Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 32 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs). Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment. Comfortable with risk level 1 exposure to bloodborne pathogens, requiring prolonged glove wear. Minimum one year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation and Benefits Starting hourly wage: $16.00, in line with state or local minimum wage.
