Job Description

Job Summary:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as an X-Ray Technician, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety. Provide quality care while maintaining equipment and adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and perform diagnostic imaging procedures following established protocols.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assess patient safety, comfort, and physiological needs throughout procedures.
• Monitor and adjust procedures as necessary to ensure image quality.
• Document procedures, findings, and equipment maintenance activities accurately.
• Comply with all regulatory guidelines and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Obtain 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of various imaging equipment, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Hold a current NJ State RT License.
• Be ARRT certified in radiography.
• Show awareness of current trends and innovations in clinical practice and healthcare technology.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with strong problem-solving abilities.
