Industrial Maintenance Technician Semiconductor

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support operations in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chemical, gas, and slurry distribution systems that are critical to semiconductor production. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong industrial maintenance experience who enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment in a safety-focused environment.

Location: Fremont, CA

Job Type: 1 Year (Temp To Hire)

Schedule: Rotating 10-hour day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays

Must be clean-shaven for PPE compliance, including wearing respirators for an extended period time.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas, chemical, and slurry distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and distribution systems.
• Maintain chemical blending, reprocessing, and life safety systems.
• Inspect and repair chemical system leaks.
• Read, interpret, and work from Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Complete maintenance records and technical documentation accurately.
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams to resolve equipment issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance or skilled trades experience (maintenance, mechanical, plumbing, welding, oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, etc.).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
• Comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade/Vocational School certification or Associate's degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
• Startup and commissioning experience.
• Experience installing and maintaining industrial plumbing systems.
• Experience with gas and chemical delivery systems.
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements

• Walk 36 miles throughout the facility during each shift.
• Climb ladders up to 12 feet using fall protection.
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Frequently bend, kneel, and reach overhead.
