Roles and Responsibilities: Take direction from supervisors to ensuretimelyandaccuratecompletion of all jobs Perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions Analyze job locations for utility lines, permitting, and traffic controlin order tocomplete restoration activities without quality defects, safetyincidentsor any type of property damage Complete daily inspections and reporting of maintenance issues on vehicles,trailersand equipment Operate all vehicles, equipment and tools while adhering to company safety standards Works efficiently to achievea high levelof productivity daily Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors,inspectorsand client representatives Completes paperwork for job and material tracking, time reporting and vehicle use inan accurateandtimelymanner Understand and follow specific oral and written instructions Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team Willingness and ability to learnadditionalskills Success Factors: Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions. Ability tolift upto 80lbsmultiple times during a work shift Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking,stooping,and kneeling Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, andcomply withdrug-free workplace policy English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports Willingness and ability to learnadditionalskills Experience and Education: 2-3 years of concrete/finishing experience preferred 2 years of experience in the construction, underground or telecom industry Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, grasp, push, pull and reach on a frequent basis throughout the day. Must be able to lift-up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Required to travel out of town to work on projects of varying length approximately 10% of the time CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement preferred Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: Possession of, or ability to obtain, avalid State of Residence Driver’s License isrequiredwithin two weeks of employment. Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
