Acting School Superintendent (Somerset)

Shade Central City School District is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Acting Superintendent.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and administrative oversight for the District during a period of transition while the Board of School Directors evaluates its long-term leadership needs.

Anticipated Effective Date: September 25, 2026 and not to exceed one year

Qualifications:
Pennsylvania Superintendent letter of eligibility preferred
Successful administrative and educational leadership experience
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with staff, students, families, and the community
