Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on a travel basis. This role involves providing critical recovery care for post-surgical patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient vital signs and recovery status continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform post-operative assessments and document patient progress accurately in Meditech.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to coordinate patient care.
• Utilize advanced ICU skills to manage complex patient needs.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code in navy blue scrubs, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of ICU/PACU experience.
• Must possess ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in bedside monitoring and intubation procedures.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling and call rotations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
